A cast iron pan with a beautiful wooden handle on a stove top. Next to it is a small bowl with breaded tofu cubes. Besides it a wooden board with mushrooms, cut bell peppers and some chopped spring onions on it.

I found a fairly cheap Cousances cast iron pan from the early 1900s in very good condition and it's perfect. This will be one to pass down to the grandchildren. First test run: fried tofu with mushrooms and peppers.
